22nd Annual Victory For Veterans Memorial Ride

The Victory for Veterans Memorial Ride brings motorcycle-loving veterans by the thousands to Wicker Memorial Park. It’s a day to celebrate the men and women who have laid their lives on the line for each of us. No event is complete without entertainment, food and fun family-friendly activities and the Victory for Veterans Memorial Ride is no exception. Halloween Spooktacular:
Trunk or Treat
Little ghouls and goblins ages 3-12 are invited to North Township's Halloween Spectacular at the pavilion, from 2-5 pm. This annual event at Wicker Park Pavilion features our new Trunk or Treat, face painting, bounce house, costume contest, food, and of course, CANDY! We invite community groups and businesses to participate by decorating a vehicle and entering our contest. For more info on how to register, call 219-313-3934
Annual Coat Drive
3North Township Trustee Frank J. Mrvan will host the 11th annual coat drive in the hopes of distributing hundreds of winter items to township residents from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13 at the Wicker Park Pavilion.
DROP-OFF LOCATIONS: Wicker Park Pro Shop; Ridge United Methodist Church, 8607 Columbia Ave., Munster; Brown Insurance, 9105 A Indianapolis Blvd., Highland. Donations will be accepted October 1 through November 1.
