It has been a great honor to serve you as the North Township Trustee. Since I have been in office, I have dedicated my efforts to bring change and new direction to the Trustee's Office. I will continue to protect your tax dollars, strengthen our families, and enhance educational and employment opportunities for North Township residents. I want to continue on this journey to reorganize and re-prioritize the Trustee's Office to make it more effective, efficient and accountable. I will continue to serve with the honesty you deserve and the results you count on.
After graduating from Morton High School in 1987, I went on to earn a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ball State University. Before being elected Trustee, I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative and licensed mortgage broker. I also served on the North Township Board for 3 years. I am a past President of the Lake County Young Democrats, past Treasurer of the Highland Democratic Club, and member of the Hessville Democratic Club, Knights of Columbus and FDR Club. I am especially proud to be the son of Senator Frank and Jean Mrvan, and the husband of wife Jane (Trimble) and father to Genevieve and Scarlett. Currently we reside in Highland where we attend St. Thomas Moore Church.
