Senior Citizens

Welcome to the North Township Trustee's Senior Page.  We offer several programs and services that are geared towards our North Township seniors:

• The Dial-A-Ride program which provides FREE transportation throughout North Township is great for seniors that need a ride to the doctor or grocery store.  For more information. please check out our Dial-A-Ride page.
• The North Township Trustee also offers monthly Senior Luncheon at the Wicker Memorial park Social Center.  For five dollars ($5.00). seniors may enjoy great food, entertainment, guest speakers and door prizes.    For more information or to sign up, please call (219) 932-2530 and Press 2.

 2010 Senior Luncheon Menu

• May 12th

Mixed Green Salad, Open Faced Beef Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans and Rice Pudding with Whipped Cream.

• June 9th and July 14th

Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Cottage Cheese on a bed of Lettuce with Tomato, Beets, Pickle, Hawaiian Roll and Peaches.

• August 11th - PICNIC

Oven Fried Chicken, Cole Slaw, Corn, Dinner Roll and Watermelon.

• September 15th and October 20th

Mixed Green Salad, Meat Loaf, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Peas and Sherbet.

• November 10th and 17th

Chicken Noodle Soup, Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Buttered Corn, Cranberry Sauce and Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream.

• December 8th and 15th

Mixed Green Salad, Sliced Baked Ham with Horseradish, Green Beans Almandine, Baked Potato with Sour Cream, Butter and Chives and Apple Pie.
